Delingsbazaren is directly translated into The Sharing Bazaar and is a portal where the public sector may share software primarily developed for the Norwegian public sector. Delingsbazaren is a portal by The Norwegian Open Source Competence Center.

The Norwegian public sector consists of roughly 430 municipalities and 19 counties. In addition, there is a large number of public institutions such as libraries, police and fire offices, tax handling, etc. All together about 1000 enterprises.

The Norwegian Open Source Competence Center is convinced that there is a huge economic and quality potential in increased sharing of software and knowledge within the public sector. Delingsbazaren is a tool to facilitate such sharing, re-use and collaboration.
